Content Principle components of Integrated Crop Management (ICM) Systems in Agricultural Production. Development and implementation of ICM systems. Certification procedure of ICM production according to certain selected protocols such as AGRO 1 & 2, EUROPGAP, GLOBALGAP. Selected case studies of ICM production systems for pome and stone fruits, olives, grapes and vegetable crops.
Learning outcomes Upon the completion of the course students will be able to understand: the new trends and methods in Integrated Crop Management (ICM) Systems in Agricultural Production the main steps in the certification procedure according to some broadly used ICM protocols
Exams Written exams at the end of the semester. Furthermore, the students will have to prepare and submit by the end of the semester and before the examination period one literature review project on a topic relevant to the objectives of the course.
