Academic History 2012 - PhD Student, Department of Agricultural Development, DUTh PhD project: Phytoseiid species in biological control of vegetable pests. 2010– 2012 In 2010, I enrolled in the postgraduate program of “Sustainable Production Systems and Environment in Agriculture” at the Department of Agricultural Development, DUTh. During my MSc thesis I evaluated the side effects (toxicity and persistence) of the available in the Greek market neonicotinoid insecticides to the predatory mirid bug Macrolophus caliginosus and the phytoseid mite Amblyseius swirskii 2005-2010 Bachelor in Agricultural Sciences, Department of Agricultural Development, DUTh During my diploma thesis I worked at the Laboratory of Agricultural Entomology and Zoology. The aim of my work was the evaluation of the toxicity of a new at that time acaricide in the Greek market, OBERON® (Spiromesifen) on field collected strains of the two spotted spider mite Tetranychus urticae.
