2/97-7/97    Special Researcher and Advisor to the Ministry of Education and Religions of Greece.  Worked with the Directorate of Planning and Operations Research in the context of the Program for Educational Practice and Research on Education.  This program is funded by the State Scholarship Foundation and its mission is to upgrade the educational system inviting experts from abroad.  Completed a statistical analysis of survey data from all university departments in Greece using database software.  The research report consists of five volumes and includes analysis by individual department, by groups of similar departments, by scientific area, by administrative region, and by university.  This study is expected to assist in the strategic planning of the Ministry and the assessment of proposals for the improvement of higher education in Greece.
